Amanda, affectionately known as the " Wizard of Oz", brings a deep expertise and strategic insight to her role as Director of Operations at Nexus Strategic Wealth. Joining our team in 2025, she thrives on operations, administration, and process improvement; making everything hum, so we can focus on what matters most, our clients. Her motto... “Operations shine when nobody notices them!”

 

Born south of London, Amanda relocated to the US in 1999. She holds a BA in Finance from the University of Oregon, with minors in economics and IT.  While most of her 25-year career was spent on the institutional side of the financial industry, her last chapter, before becoming our wizard, was running the business office at a French Immersion school here in Portland. 

 

When she’s not keeping operations on track, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, volunteering, and helping friends improve their computer skills. She’s also an amateur photographer who loves capturing moments that make her smile.
